Kervin Arriaga
Scores goal, assists in win
Arriaga scored one goal and assisted once from three shots and two chances created in Tuesday's 3-2 victory against Celta Vigo.
Analysis: Arriaga had an upstanding performance Tuesday, scoring and assisting once to help get the win over Celta Vigo. Despite getting just two starts in the last five appearances, he's scoring once on two assists while collecting 11 clearances and six tackles in that span.
Clears ban
Arriaga has served his one-game La Liga suspension and is eligible to return going forward.
Analysis: Arriaga has seen his role reduced over the past few months, but he'll be in contention for a holding midfield spot with Oriol Rey and Ugo Raghouber in the final weeks of the season. Prior to his latest ban, Arriaga recorded one assist along with 13 clearances, six tackles and three interceptions across 193 minutes of play in his last seven league appearances.
Picks up suspension
Arriaga is set for a one-match ban due to yellow card accumulation.
Analysis: Arriaga is hitting the sidelines and will not face Osasuna in the next contest, instead suspended for a game. He earned his first start in over two months in the match he earned his fifth yellow, so this is a minor absence. This will leave him with only three games left in the season to play before their possible relegation.
Assists off the bench
Arriaga assisted once to go with one shot (zero on goal) and one chance created in Thursday's 2-0 victory against Sevilla.
Analysis: Arriaga didn't do much in his appearance off the bench but he was credited with an assist late in stoppage time to seal Levante's win. He should see good opportunities to add to this tally if he sees the field against Espanyol, a team which has given up 49 goals so far in LaLiga play.
