Makes Premier League debut

Furo made his first Premier League appearance during Saturday's 3-0 win over West Ham United, marking a significant milestone in the young forward's development at Brentford.

Analysis: Furo's debut appearance is a reward for his progress through the ranks and gives coach Keith Andrews another option to call upon in the final fixtures of the season for the Bees. The club will hope the experience of getting his first top-flight minutes can serve as a platform for him to build on heading into the 2026/27 campaign.

Fit Monday

Furo (groin) is on the bench for Monday's match against Manchester United.

Analysis: Furo was out with a strain last week but is already an option again despite no news of a return, with the forward fit for the bench. The forward has seen minimal time this season and should continue is more of a resevre role to end the season, starting in one of his two appearances while recording 86 minutes.

Out with strain

Furo suffered a knock in training and is out for the time being due to a groin strain, according to manager Keith Andrews. "Kaye got a knock in training three days before the Everton game, and he felt a slight groin strain. He missed that game, and he won't be involved this week."

Analysis: Furo was out last week after a knock in training and will continue his absence, not fit enough to play a week later. Luckily for the club, this is a minor loss for them, as he has mainly gone unused and is in a depth role since joining the club. Once he does return, much of that is unlikely to change moving forward.

Joins Brentford

Furo was transferred from Club Brugge to Brentford and signed a five-and-a-half-year deal, his new club announced. "Kaye is someone we have tracked for a while that we are really excited about bringing to the club. His attributes are ones that I like and feel we can develop within the environment we have created. I have no doubt he will be a big player for us," coach Keith Andrews said.

Analysis: Furo progressed through the youth ranks at Royal Antwerp and Club Brugge before signing his first professional contract at age 15 and later featuring regularly for Club NXT in the Challenger Pro League. He scored eight goals in 18 CPL matches in 2024/25, added two goals and one assist in the Youth League, and made his senior debut for Club Brugge in August 2025 during Champions League qualifying, later scoring his first Pro League goal against Sint-Truiden. At international level, Furo has represented Belgium across every youth category from under-15 to under-21.
