Questionable due to knee issue
Blake is listed as questionable for the week 13 fixture against Orlando City after picking up a knee injury, the MLS announced Tuesday.
Analysis: Blake is Philadelphia's first-choice goalkeeper and has been the anchor of the Union's defense for years, so a knee concern putting him in doubt is the biggest concern for Philadelphia ahead of future contests. If he can't play, the Union's defensive security drops considerably given the form and quality gap between him and the usual bench option Andrew Vincent Rick.
Records clean sheet in 0-0 draw
Blake made one save in Saturday's 0-0 draw with Nashville SC.
Analysis: Blake did not see much action, but he was decisive when needed. He rose to the occasion to stonewall Ahmed Quasem's shot in the 73rd minute. While it was just his second clean sheet of 2026, Blake remains one of MLS's elite goalkeepers. Up next is a road fixture against the New England Revolution on Saturday.
Concedes twice Saturday
Blake recorded four saves and allowed two goals in Saturday's 2-0 defeat to Columbus Crew.
Analysis: Blake conceded two goals Sunday, his sixth time through 10 starts conceding two goals. Both came in the first half, first in the 4th minute by Max Arfsten and then an own goal scored by Nathan Harriel just before halftime. He also made four saves in the loss, his second most in a match this season. Next up he faces Nashville SC on Saturday, a side which has scored a conference-high 21 goals through nine matches this season.
Struggles continues
Blake recorded no saves and allowed three goals in Wednesday's 3-3 draw versus Toronto FC.
Analysis: Blake struggled after a rare clean sheet in his previous outing, conceding three goals for the second time this season after suffering such a heavy defeat only once across the entirety of last campaign. The veteran goalkeeper, typically one of the most reliable in MLS, is enduring a difficult start, having conceded 15 goals through his first nine matches. He will look to regain form when his side faces Columbus Crew on Saturday.
Simple clean sheet
Blake made no saves and allowed zero goals in Saturday's 0-0 draw against D.C. United.
Analysis: Blake earned a clean sheet Saturday despite not facing a single shot throughout the match. The goalkeeper had little to do and was left with a frustrating draw as the team in front of him couldn't produce a single goal. He will likely be more tested in the coming weeks against more potent offensive teams.
