Analysis: Bond came up with four saves in Sunday's 4-1 road win against LAFC, flashing his shot-stopping ability with a full-stretch dive to his right in the 71st minute to deny Ryan Porteous' long-range rocket before showing sharp reflexes again in the 81st minute with a quick low stop to keep the scoreline intact. The only blemish came just before halftime when Nathan Ordaz's deflected left-footed effort found the net, a tough break on a cross that took a ricochet off a Houston defender and went in against the run of play. Bond will look to carry that momentum into Wednesday's matchup against Real Salt Lake.
Keeps clean sheet Saturday
Bond recorded two saves and secured a clean sheet in Saturday's 1-0 win over Colorado Rapids.
Analysis: Bond kept his second clean sheet of the season Saturday, both of which have come in his last three starts. He only needed to make two saves to do so, a credit to his defense for shutting down the Colorado attack. He faces a difficult matchup Sunday at LAFC, a side which has scored 19 goals through 11 matches this season.

Analysis: Bond got the start and made the most of it, though he only had to make one save against a San Diego side which was surprisingly poor offensively in this one. Things are unlikely to keep being this easy against Austin FC, a team which has scored six goals in three matches ahead of its Wednesday contest.

Analysis: Bond didn't suffer a serious injury after leaving the previous game at halftime, so he'll hope to increase his production this time. The goalkeeper is averaging 2.7 saves and 2.3 goals conceded per game this season. Jimmy Maurer will be once again among the substitutes with Bond available from kickoff.
