Caleb Ekuban
Wins one tackle in Atalanta match
Ekuban (thigh) drew one foul and had one tackle (one won) in 34 minutes in Saturday's 0-0 draw with Atalanta.
Analysis: Ekuban saw decent playing time off the bench but didn't pick up stats on the offensive end. He'll try to challenge Vitinha, Jeff Ekhator and Lorenzo Colombo, who all started in this one, in the last three matches. He has scored once and posted two shots (two on target), one cross (zero accurate) and one tackle (one won) in his last five cameos.
Good to go for Atalanta tilt
Ekuban (undisclosed) "has practiced with us for the past two days and is fit for Saturday," coach Daniele De Rossi stated.
Analysis: Ekuban will make a quick return after sitting out one match due to muscular discomfort and will split minutes with Vitinha, Jeff Ekhator and Loreno Colombo in the two-man front-line. He has been deployed as a sub in his last four appearances, scoring once and adding two shots (two on target) and one cross (zero accurate).
Ruled out for Como fixture
Ekuban hasn't been selected for Sunday's clash with Como.
Analysis: Ekuban suffered an unspecified physical problem in training and will be re-evaluated next week. He generally split duties with Vitinha, Jeff Ekhator and Lorenzo Colombo in a couple of spots in the frontline. Maxwel Cornet (thigh) is also an option following an injury.
